From the Principal
Dear Lindisfarne Parents and Guardians,
What a delight it has been to experience a stretch of beautiful, warm, and sunny days across the region. The sunshine has been uplifting, and it’s been wonderful to see students and staff enjoying the outdoors again.
Unfortunately, I wrote to you over the weekend to inform you of an incident that occurred on Saturday involving a small fire in the A1 Art Room, which was believed to be the result of an electrical issue.
Thanks to the swift and professional response from our staff, emergency services were contacted immediately, and the fire brigade responded promptly. The fire was quickly contained and confined to the A1 space and an adjoining storeroom and staff space.
While there is some property damage, the most important news is that no one was injured. We are deeply grateful to our staff and first responders for their calm and decisive handling of the situation.
Some students, including some of our Year 12 Visual Arts students, have unfortunately had their work damaged and in a small number of cases work has been damaged beyond repair despite the best efforts of the fire brigade and our staff. Our Creative Industries staff are in direct contact with those affected and are continuing to work through support plans. We appreciate your understanding, as this process takes time and we are responding as quickly as humanly possible.
As Principal, I remind all parents and carers of the importance of showing respect for our neighbours when dropping off and collecting students at both campuses. Parking across driveways, double parking, or stopping in unsafe areas creates frustration for local residents and compromises safety around the school. I ask that every member of our community take responsibility, follow road rules, and demonstrate the courtesy and consideration that reflect the values we hold as a school.
On Monday, we held a special assembly as our 2026 School Captain candidates delivered their speeches on leadership. It was inspiring to hear from our shortlisted students, each expressing a vision for our school community with passion, maturity, and heart. We look forward to announcing our 2026 School Captains soon.
On Wednesday night, our Chapel transformed into a stunning performance venue for the 2025 HSC Music Showcase. It was a spectacular evening, filled with pride, artistry, and emotional performances. I was deeply moved by the talent and dedication on display. Congratulations to all our Year 12 Music students and Performing Arts staff on such an outstanding evening.
We welcomed home our Year 5 students yesterday after a memorable and adventurous camp at Lake Ainsworth. I had the pleasure of visiting the group during their stay, and it was wonderful to see them laughing, learning, and enjoying each other’s company under blue skies. Thank you to our dedicated staff for providing such a rich and safe experience.
Today, I attended the NSW Regional Leaders Business Summit in Byron Bay alongside members of our leadership team and other Regional Leaders. The summit brought together educational and corporate leaders from across the region, featuring powerful insights from guest speakers. It was a fantastic opportunity for professional growth and connection.
Reminder: Sing for R U OK? Community Choir Event
A significant annual event for Lindisfarne is our Sing for R U OK? Community Choir Night is a joyful and moving initiative that brings us together to raise awareness around mental health, connection, and care.
We are thrilled to welcome back Vicky Jacobs from Melbourne to lead the evening in her inimitable style. This ‘pub choir’-style event is open to all, with no prior singing experience required. Together, we’ll raise our voices in song, community, and support of suicide prevention and mental well-being.

One conversation can change a life.
Please mark your calendar and consider attending. It’s always an unforgettable evening filled with hope and connection.
Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to our School community. As we look ahead to a busy second half of the term, I encourage you to continue reaching out, encouraging your children, and staying connected.
Warm regards,
Stuart Marquardt

Chaplaincy News
Dear Students, Staff, Parents and Guardians,
In my last four articles, we have been exploring the lives of each of the Saints that our Sports Houses are named after. So far, we have focused on Saint Cuthbert, Saint Stephen, Saint Andrew and Saint Barnabas. In this article, we will turn our attention to Saint Hilda.
Saint Hilda of Whitby (614–680 AD) stands as a prominent figure among early Christian saints in England, celebrated for her wisdom, devotion, and influence in shaping the Anglo-Saxon Church. As an abbess, she led the significant double monastery at Whitby. Hilda is honored as a saint within the Roman Catholic Church, the Anglican Communion, and the Eastern Orthodox Church.
Born in 614 AD into noble Anglo-Saxon heritage, Hilda was the great-niece of King Edwin of Northumbria and was baptized in 627 by Paulinus of York, a missionary bishop. Driven by her Christian convictions, she dedicated her life to God, becoming a nun at 33. She followed the path of her elder sister, Hereswith, who had joined religious life in Gaul.
Around 647 AD, Bishop Aidan of Lindisfarne invited Hilda back to Northumbria to establish a new religious community. She initially led a small convent on the River Wear before taking on the role of abbess at Hartlepool. Yet, her founding of and leadership at the double monastery in Whitby immortalized her legacy. This monastery, accommodating both men and women, emerged as a pivotal center for learning, theology, and missionary endeavors.
The Synod of Whitby in 664 AD marks a significant event in Hilda’s life. This historic assembly was organized to settle disagreements between Celtic and Roman Christian customs in England, notably concerning Easter’s date and monastic practices. Despite her ties with the Celtic tradition, Hilda was instrumental in guiding the proceedings toward a peaceful resolution. Ultimately, the Synod chose the Roman tradition, aligning England closer with the broader Catholic Church.
Hilda was esteemed for her wisdom and leadership, serving as an advisor to both royalty and clergy. Her Whitby monastery became a training hub for bishops and priests, contributing significantly to the nurturing of future Church leaders.
An enduring contribution of Hilda’s monastery was supporting Caedmon, the first known English poet. According to the Venerable Bede, Caedmon, an illiterate cowherd, was divinely inspired to craft poetry. Hilda encouraged him to develop his talent, and his hymns and poems became influential in the evolution of early Christian literature in England.
Saint Hilda died on November 17, 680, after enduring a prolonged illness, during which she steadfastly guided her community. Reportedly, at her death, a nun elsewhere witnessed a vision of Hilda’s soul ascending to heaven.
Her acclaim for wisdom, holiness, and leadership led to her sainthood, with her feast day commemorated on November 17 in Western churches and on November 19 in the Eastern Orthodox Church. As Saint of one of our more recent Houses here at Lindisfarne, may Saint Hilda’s life of service be an inspiration to us all.
Blessings,
Reverend Lyndon

SchoolTV - Anxiety & Young People

Anxiety is a natural and expected part of growing up. In fact, it plays an important role in helping young people prepare for challenges, stay alert to potential dangers and adapt to new situations. It can motivate them to study for a test, practise before a performance, or tread carefully in unfamiliar settings. However, for many children and adolescents today, anxiety can shift from being a helpful response to becoming intense, persistent and disruptive.
The world young people are growing up in is fast-paced and often demanding. Academic pressures, social expectations, family changes and the constant presence of digital media can all contribute to heightened stress and worry.
When anxiety is left unrecognised or unsupported, it can begin to affect a young person's wellbeing, learning, friendships and self-confidence. That's why it's so important for adult carers to understand how anxiety may present in children. Everyone experiences anxiety differently, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution.
This edition of SchoolTV raises awareness and provides families with practical strategies to help young people manage anxiety in healthy, constructive ways.

ConnectED 2025/26 Device Exchange
Planning is well advanced for the 2026 ConnectEd device rollover, which will see significant upgrades across our technology program.
From 2026, all staff and students will transition to the Apple MacBook Air M4, while current iPads (10th Gen) will continue to be used as part of the device program.
For the first time, staff and students will also have the opportunity to purchase their current MacBook Air M2 device for $800 (inc. GST). This process begins with completing an Expression of Interest (EOI) via the form provided.
EOIs close on Friday 10th October 2025 at 5.00pm, with full payment required by Monday 10th November 2025 at 5.00pm. Ownership of purchased devices will transfer to continuing staff and students on Monday 10th November 2025. Devices will then be the property of the purchaser, with no further support or responsibility carried by the School. Any staff or students who purchase their device will still be provided with a new MacBook for use at the school along with everyone else.
More details will be shared in the months ahead, but the device rollover schedule will occur as follows:
Part One: Students in Years 7–12 will return their current MacBook Air at a scheduled time in the week beginning 17 November 2025.
Part Two: Students will receive their new MacBook Air at a whole-cohort induction session on the first day of the 2026 school year. (Year 12, 2026 and accelerants will complete their induction and exchange for their new device in Term 4 this year.)
Staff, Year 12 (2026) and accelerated students will be upgraded in the final weeks of this year, enabling them to use their new M4 devices across the holiday break. Students K-6 will have their tech needs managed within their classgroup. IT will provide full support for data transfer to ensure a seamless transition.

What a wonderful week it has been in the Junior School!
We began the week with our Junior School Assembly, where students gathered to share their achievements and experience the sense of community that makes our school so special. It’s always great to share these celebrations of achievement with so many parents, carers, grandparents and special friends. On Wednesday, the Father’s Day Stall brought plenty of excitement as children carefully selected gifts to surprise the special men and father-figures in their lives. It was heartwarming to watch their thoughtfulness and joy in preparing for Father’s Day.
Our co-curricular program continues to shine, with music, art, sports, and lunchtime clubs providing numerous opportunities for students to explore their passions and discover new interests. A standout this term has been Skipping Club, which has seen record numbers of students and parents joining in the fun before school. It has been great to watch our community come together, enjoying active mornings while also supporting the wonderful cause of Jump Rope for Heart. A huge thank you to Mr Croft for his energy and commitment to providing such fun and (inter)active opportunities for our students and families.
Another highlight was watching our Year 4 students step into the next stage of their learning journey with a visit to the Year 5 classrooms at Mahers Lane. This experience gave them a taste of what lies ahead and helped build excitement and confidence for the future. We look forward to supporting their transition to Middle School with a number of activities throughout the rest of the year.
Next Tuesday’s Hero Day is sure to be one of fun with extended playtime, icy treats, games and a dance party in the music garden. This celebration of our commitment to character development and positive behaviour is sure to be a hit with the students.
Our eyes are now also turning towards the much-anticipated Year 3 Camp at Camp Goodenough. The chatter among our Year 3 students is filled with excitement as they prepare for their first school camp, a milestone that promises fun, challenge, and the chance to build independence and friendships that will last a lifetime.
As always, these weeks remind us that education at the Junior School is about so much more than just the classroom. It is about creating moments of connection, fostering creativity and resilience, and building a community where our children feel known, supported, and inspired to thrive.

Children’s Book Week at the Junior School
What an exciting week it was at the Junior School as we celebrated Children’s Book Week with the theme, ‘Book an Adventure!’. The school was buzzing with energy as students and staff embraced the many journeys that books can take us on.
Throughout the week, students explored a range of CBCA shortlisted titles and completed activities designed to spark their creativity, imagination and critical thinking. From diving into thought-provoking themes to responding through illustration, writing and discussion, it was wonderful to see students engaging so deeply with quality Australian literature. At lunchtime, many students joined Miss Tammy for a special ‘Book an Adventure!’ club. Armed with their Lindisfarne Passports, they travelled on a literary journey around the world, collecting stamps along the way. Each stop introduced them to stories from different cultures and countries, giving students a taste of the diverse voices and adventures books can offer.
The Great Book Swap was once again a huge success, raising $401 for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. The Indigenous Literacy Foundation is a charity that works with 424 remote Communities to supply books and literacy resources, and publish books in First Languages by and for First Nations Peoples. Support for this initiative is greatly appreciated, and it was heartwarming to see so many books shared among the Junior School students.
We ended the week on a high with our Book Character Dress-Up Day and Parade. The school grounds were alive with adventurers of all kinds — explorers, wizards, classic literary figures and travellers from near and far. It was a joy to see students confidently parading in their costumes, bringing to life the adventurous characters they have come to love.
Children’s Book Week reminded us all that every time we open a book, we book an adventure. Thanks to everyone who got involved. Here’s to many more journeys, discoveries, and daring escapes ahead!

Inaugural 24-Hour Run for the Lindisfarne Safe Sleepbus
Our Year 8 students are preparing to lead an exciting new initiative - the inaugural 24-Hour Run, taking place from Thursday 18 to Friday 19 September in the Mahers Lane Chapel.
Over 24 hours, students will run in rotations on treadmills, supporting one another while raising awareness and funds for the Lindisfarne Safe Sleepbus Project. In partnership with Rotary and community groups, Lindisfarne is transforming an old school bus into a safe overnight shelter for people experiencing homelessness in the Tweed Shire.
This project is a chance for our Year 8 students to live out compassion in action, demonstrate leadership, and make a tangible difference in our community. Families will soon receive details on how to support or sponsor a runner, with all funds going directly to the Safe Sleepbus initiative.
Welcome Back Year 5

Helping Teens Find Balance with Screens
Screens are a big part of teen life, from games and group chats to streaming and social media. It can be hard to know when to step in and when to let things be.
The Raising Children Network has some great tips on helping our young people build a healthy relationship with technology through establishing balance, boundaries, and keeping the conversation open.
Not all screen time is equal. Some of it stretches thinking or fuels creativity. Other times, it’s just about switching off. As long as it’s not taking over sleep, movement, or real-world connection.
Social media adds another layer. It’s a big part of identity and friendships for teens, but it can also bring pressure. Asking curious questions can help keep lines of communication open.
Simple boundaries like screen-free dinners or no phones before bed can make a real difference. And rather than focusing only on the risks, we can encourage teens to use tech to create, learn, and connect meaningfully.
It’s a fast-moving world, but when we stay involved and keep talking, we help them find their way through it.

Year 7 Coordinators
This week Year 7 have started their journey towards understanding what effective leadership looks like as they move towards Year 8 and the chance to be a middle school leader. The students watched our future school captain speeches on Monday, discussing the different qualities of being a leader and how leaders represent our school values. This was followed by a lesson focused on the round square values of leadership and democracy. Year 7 explored why democracy is so important, but also how we need to carefully value our rights and freedoms, and how it is our responsibility to help uphold these rights and values.
This is leading towards our Year 7 leadership day on September 25, in which students will further develop their skills and understanding of effective leadership. In term four, students will be asked to put themselves forward for leadership. Being a middle school leader in Year 8 presents a unique opportunity to bring change to Lindisfarne and help be a representative for all our students in Year 5-8. It is a pathway to future leadership opportunities in the senior school, and we are looking forward to seeing Year 7 step into these new and exciting roles.

Senior School
From the Head of Senior School
This week in the Senior School has been marked by both challenge and celebration, and it is appropriate to take a moment to reflect on these experiences.
The recent fire in the Art Department has had a significant impact on our students, particularly our HSC Visual Arts cohort, whose major works were scheduled to be displayed at this week’s Art Exhibition. For many of these students, their works represent not only the culmination of their studies in the subject but also hundreds of hours of dedication and personal expression. Understandably, the inability to show these pieces in the way they had anticipated has been a source of disappointment and distress. What has been so remarkable, however, has been the resilience shown by our students in the face of this adversity. Their capacity to respond with dignity and strength at such a critical point in their schooling is admirable, and it reflects qualities that will serve them well beyond their time at Lindisfarne. I also wish to acknowledge the tireless efforts of the Creative Industries team, who have provided constant support, reassurance and guidance during this difficult time. As a school, we continue to work closely with NESA to ensure that students are recognised appropriately for their work and that they receive the marks they deserve.
In the same week that we faced this unexpected challenge, we also experienced the joy of celebrating our HSC Music students from the Class of 2025. Their showcase in the Chapel was an uplifting and inspiring event that highlighted the extraordinary talent within the Senior School. It was very well attended and provided all present with a reminder of what can be achieved when students commit themselves fully to their passions. Observing these young people perform with such confidence and skill was a privilege. It also allowed us to reflect on their journey throughout their time at Lindisfarne and to appreciate the growth, development and maturity that they have demonstrated along the way.
Our weekly newsletter is also an opportunity to comment on some of the broader issues that arise in the life of the Senior School. At this point in the term, it is important to remind students and families of the need for responsible use of technology. While most students engage with technology positively and appropriately, there remains a small number who seek to misuse it by accessing other people’s devices and sending unsolicited messages. This behaviour is both disrespectful and disruptive and will be subject to disciplinary action where it occurs. However, it also serves as a reminder to all of us that we must take steps to ensure the security of our devices. Students are reminded to never share passwords, to avoid leaving devices unattended, and to check regularly that their security settings are appropriate. Digital responsibility is a critical skill for young people in today’s world, and just as we expect high standards of behaviour in the classroom and in the wider school community, so too must we expect the same standards in the online environment.

Book Week Costume Parade
Our annual Book Week costume parade seems to grow bigger and bigger every year!

Thank you to all students who dressed up, from Year 5-12 (and of course, our dedicated staff). I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families that have supported and even gotten involved in the creation of some very imaginative DIY costumes. It was an incredibly joyful day of celebration and connection for students across the middle and senior school. Our Year 5 students loved having the chance to parade their costumes alongside their Year 12 buddies.
We have continued to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation this year through gold coin donations, and we are grateful to all families who contributed to this important cause. You can read more about their work supplying culturally appropriate books to remote communities on their website:
Please enjoy some photo highlights from our parade. The theme this year was Book an Adventure, and students drew inspiration from absolutely everything. From The Lorax to The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and from Anne of Green Gables to a Year 10 Maths textbook - no book was left unappreciated this year.

Year 11 Geography Field Trip
Exploring Flood Management in Murwillumbah
On Tuesday, our Year 11 Geography students travelled to Murwillumbah for a hands-on investigation for their unit studying Human-Environment Interactions, using the March 2022 flood as their case study.
A trip highlight was an expert talk from Danny Rose, Manager of Roads and Stormwater Engineering at Tweed Shire Council. Danny shared detailed information about the town's catchment, the unique challenges it poses, and the multilevel flood mitigation strategies in place. Students toured critical infrastructure, including the town's levee system, floodgates, monitoring cameras, and high-capacity pumps. They learned about a recent stormwater management study, which recommended significant upgrades to pumps at Lavender Creek and Wharf Street, aiming to speed up water removal and reduce flood duration for future events.
Danny explained how climate change projections and improved hydrological modelling are shaping upcoming flood plans, ensuring Murwillumbah is better equipped for future storms. The group saw first-hand how council data validation—using 2022 flood records—is driving smarter investment and response strategies.
The morning was also spent surveying local businesses in the CBD to assess the economic impact of the flood. Students gained invaluable first-hand insights as they spoke to shop owners about business interruptions, recovery efforts, and ongoing flood preparedness measures.
Our students returned with a deeper understanding of human-environment interactions and local flood management, seeing how communities can adapt and plan for a safer, more resilient future.

By all measures, a quieter week this week. Andie Buchan and Elle Down were down in Victoria winning Nationals Cross Country last Saturday. The girls certainly have a good formula, because they spaced the opposition.
Our FINAL sports nomination scoop for the year opened on Tuesday - for Term 4. It is surreal how quick we are freewheeling towards the year's end.
Good luck to our CIS Primary Athletes heading to Sydney next week, we will have a solid write up next week for this.
Also, I am flying out to Adelaide on Sunday with our Netball teams/coaches, for the National All Schools. Very much looking forward to seeing how the girls go in that blast furnace of a competition.

Athletics Australia National Cross Country
A huge congratulations to Andie Buchan (Year 6) and Elle Down (Year 3), who both represented with excellence at the National Cross Country Championships held in Ballarat on Sunday, 24 August.
Andie tackled a tough 3.1km course featuring mud, tree log obstacles, and sand — and achieved a personal best time of 10 minutes and 38 seconds, securing the gold medal! You can watch her race here (Andie appears around the 2-hour, 54-minute mark, wearing maroon).
Elle also ran an outstanding race and proudly came away with gold, sharing in the excitement and the experience with Andie. What a fantastic achievement for both girls — well done!

NCIS Primary Basketball
On Wednesday, both girls' and boys' Lions teams travelled to Ballina to compete in NCIS Primary Basketball. Fresh off their Gold Coast Junior Basketball Championships, Isla Naumann and Buddy Robin led their teams to some fantastic performances. Coaches were extremely happy with the way the teams competed, playing good team basketball, supporting each other and improving every game. It was fantastic to see some new players representing the school and competing against some really strong opposition.
In the day's final games, the girls were able to get up over Emmanuel, putting them into second place, while the boys went down to Emmanuel in their equally hard-fought game for second.
A really big thank you to the parents and supporters who were able to attend.

Basketball Lions Grand Final
The Lindisfarne Lions had a huge week on the basketball court, with four teams competing in grand finals. Congratulations to our U12 Boys Mufasas, U14 Girls Nalas and U14 Boys Lokis, who all claimed the championship title after some outstanding performances. Our U16 Queens also put up a tough fight in a close and physical contest, falling just 4 points short in their grand final. We are incredibly proud of all our players and teams for their hard work, commitment and sportsmanship throughout the 2025 Winter League season.
Well done, Lions!

NFL Flag 12 & U State Champs
Last Friday, Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School was delighted to host the regional NFL Flag competition, welcoming teams from Springbrook and St Joseph’s for an exciting day of high-energy, strategic sport.
The atmosphere throughout the day was vibrant, with students displaying remarkable agility, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Lindisfarne team performed with great confidence and consistency, finishing the tournament undefeated. Their gameplay grew increasingly refined with each match, highlighting their developing cohesion and tactical understanding.
As a result of their impressive performance, the team has now qualified for the National Championships, which will take place in late October. A victory at Nationals would present the team with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent Australia at the NFL Flag International Tournament in the United States.
Congratulations go to the entire team and their coaches for their hard work, commitment, and for proudly representing Lindisfarne in such a successful and memorable event.
Spotlight on Astrid Young
Astrid, in Year 9, has earned a bronze medal for her performance at the Oceania World Artistic Roller Skating event held in Brisbane this week, proudly representing Australia! She also achieved a personal best for her routine. As we publish this newsletter, Astrid is currently competing in the Pacific Cup, where even more countries are taking part. We look forward to hearing how she goes.

Spotlight on Fletcher Burdekin and Jules Loemker
Fletcher and Jules, both Year 12 students, were named Surf Sports Team of the Year on Saturday night at the NSW Surf Life Saving Awards. It's great to see these two Year 12 lads gearing up for another season of Surf Life Saving, as they step out into post-school competition as adults in the not-so-distant future.

Tex Milroy Shines at CrossFit Games in Ohio
Congratulations to Tex Milroy, who recently competed in the prestigious CrossFit Games held in Ohio, USA. He was one of only two athletes in Australia to represent our country in the 16–17 year-old male category. Tex delivered an outstanding performance on the international stage.
After months of dedication and training and overcoming a debilitating knee injury that required surgery, Tex’s hard work paid off as he was ranked 1st in Australia in his age group and an impressive 20th in the world. The competition brought together top young athletes from across the globe, challenging them in a variety of events that tested strength, endurance, speed, and agility. From high-intensity workouts to skill-based challenges, the Games are widely regarded as one of the most demanding competitions for young CrossFit athletes.
Tex’s achievements are a testament to his commitment, resilience, and athletic talent. We are incredibly proud to see one of our students performing at such an elite level and representing our school and country with distinction.

Physio Place Sponsorship
The Lindisfarne Rugby Program is very fortunate to have the Physio Place from Tweed Heads as a sponsor in 2025. Physio Place is one of the leading physiotherapy practices on the Gold Coast and is headed up by one of our Lindisfarne alumni, Dr Carly Jennar. Dr Jennar has an extensive background in contact sports and currently works with the Tweed Seagulls Rugby League Cup squad, Brisbane Broncos NRLW team, QLD Women’s State of Origin team and has been to two Rugby League World Cups with both the Australian and Papua New Guinea Women’s National teams. You can find out more about the team of staff at Physio Place HERE.
As part of this sponsorship, Physio Place will provide Lindisfarne rugby players and families with discounted physiotherapy consultations ($30 reduction in charges) at Physio Place in Tweed Heads (next to Rebel Sport). They will also assist with:
Physiotherapy support and first aid during home games
Strapping at a suitable time before home and away games for players at school
Triage for any injured players at the school the day after match days or tournaments;
Physiotherapy support for major tournaments (e.g., Ballymore Cup and QLD All Schools) at tournament locations.
If you need physiotherapy or have any injuries, please contact Physio Place on (07) 55239994, or you can also book online at their website HERE.
Monday After School (Y7-12) and Tuesday Before School (Open Boys 7s Wider Squad) Training
In Term 3, our main training sessions outside of school time are on Monday after school (1530-1645) for all Y7-12 players and Tuesday before school until the end of P1 (0700-0940) for the U18 and U16 7s training squad on the following dates in September: 2/9, 9/9 and 16/9. Rugby union is a team sport, and we still need as many of our players to be in attendance week in and week out to grow the Lindisfarne rugby program. If there is any way we can be of assistance to help facilitate this, please let us know.
Also, please note we will NOT be sending reminders for these training sessions (all players and families should assume our Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning training sessions will ALWAYS BE ON), however, we will let you all know with as much time as possible if we need to cancel a session due to weather or other factors.
School Uniform and Training Attire
Students should be in proper training attire (NOT school sports uniform) with a mouthguard, boots and any other equipment they play with for every training session. This requirement also includes integrated school sport on Thursday, i.e., students should wear our rugby training top or similar and not the school sport polo at this time. Alongside this, students should have a towel and a spare school uniform to change into in case there is wet weather.
Outside of rugby training times, students should be in the correct uniform, which includes wearing the school sport polo on Thursday in P1-2 and P5-6 and in PE lessons and not rugby training tops.
Stack Team APP
The Stack Team app will be our Rugby Union program’s main form of communication for all our squads.
As a reminder, both parents and Boys’ / Girls’ 7s students who have parental permission for smartphones will need to download the app and join the Lindisfarne Rugby Program in the app.
To download the Stack team app, use the following links:
● iOS: https://www.teamapp.com/ios-ap...
● Android: https://www.teamapp.com/androi...
